Although their first date was a success and one to remember, they did not reconnect until after graduating from college and moving back home to Oakland, CA, in 2019. After two months of courting, Jacob and Aliyah officially started dating on December 28, 2019. This choice set them on a journey of personal growth, unwavering commitment, and by unapologetic Black love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is from our very first solo vacation together to NOLA! We got to meet each other's families and explore our roots together in a deeper setting. That vacation showed us how to communicate and express our love in a brand new environment, which brought us closer together and gave us space to truly enjoy our time together.
What would you do with $20,000?With the $20,000 we would use it to fund our wedding coming Feb 2025!
