We met in 2021 at the music festival Electric Zoo in NYC. Alex is a locally-famous influencer in the Festival and Fashion industry in Colorado, and Aidan slid into her DMs when she posted that she needed a place to stay. Now, we don't recommend to any woman that she go stay with a man she's never met in a city she's never been to... but it definitely worked out for us. We did long distance for about a year after that, before Aidan moved to Colorado from California in December 2022.

Alex and I(Aidan) were able to take a trip to the Big Island of Hawaii for Christmas 2023. My great grandmother and my grandma Cathy had a condo in the Magic Sands Village in Kona. We got to explore the island for 2 weeks; going to the beach every day, enjoyed cocktails in the sun, and explored some of Aidan's childhood favorite historical sites. I(Aidan) took Alex snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay, hiking in the Thurston Lava Tube, and Zip Lining through the Jungle in Hilo. It was the best!

Although Alex and I(Aidan) have been dating for 4 years in September, we have been struggling financially (as all young people are today). We have felt ready to get engaged or married, but have decided to wait until we find some kind of stability. $20,000 would give us the ability to get engaged, to begin our wedding plans, and to start planning for our lives together, as a family. I hope that we get the opportunity to tell our story, as I know the people will melt for Alex, just like I did!
