We worked together at a sushi restaurant. I honestly thought he was silly and a little annoying when I met him, but over time he won my heart with that same lightheartedness. We began going out after our shifts which turned us from friends to a couple. Eight years later, here we are!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory with Thanh is after the first year we were dating, when his parents took us to see his family in Vietnam. It was my first big international trip, and going to where his parents were from brought us so much closer together. I’ll never forget those moments as long as I live.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use a small chunk of the money for our wedding in January in Pensacola and our honeymoon in Japan, where Thanh proposed! We want to revisit the place that holds such an amazing memory for us. The rest would go into a down payment for a home so we can start a family. Thanh comes from a large family so I want to continue that tradition with him, being that I come from a smaller family.
