It began in high school. I had a terrible crush on him. I car pooled with a neighbor and he sat with her at lunch. So I changed my lunch to sit with them. I wanted to get to know him. We went on one date, but he would give me rides home after school. We eventually married other people. We met again in 1982 and in 1985 got married (that would take more than 500 words). I was meant to be, we both just had to take a detour first. We have two sons, daughter in laws, and four +1 on the way grandkid
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our weekend trip to NYC. I won a company event and could choose from three places. My husband picked New York, and we crammed in as much as possible in 2 days/2 nights. We walked every where. Found an awesome pizza place (I think it was a refurbished church). Went to the Empire State Bldg, American Museum of Natural History, Central Park, and of course Times Square.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably revisit NYC for a longer time and see all the things we didn't have time to do the first time OR buy a new truck that will tow the anniversary gift we bought ourselves!
