Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at the University of Miami in 2015 when we locked eyes on move-in day. We were both freshmen who had forgotten to pay for our housing on-time, and ended living amongst the upperclassmen, 3 doors apart from each other. Terrence says I had my eyes on him from day one, I say things were a bit more casual, but maybe the truth was somewhere in between, as our connection was instantaneous and undeniable. Love at first sight? Fate? Maybe, we’re just grateful for each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We love to travel! We’ve gone to Japan with a huge group of friends, we’ve gone to Europe with our parents; but Jamaica has always been our most special place. We worked all summer in 2018 to go on a vacation together to Sandals Ochi, and at 21 years old, we had the BEST trip of our lives up until then and since! Then in 2024, Terrence arranged a surprise trip for us to return and brought our relationship full circle as he dropped to one knee to propose. We get married October 2025!

What would you do with $20,000?

We are a financially minded couple! This money would go towards purchasing a home / investment property. To this point, we do not have a traditional wedding registry, either. We’ve asked our guests to bless us with contributions towards a “down-payment fund.” We pray to raise a family in a home grounded in love, faith, and stability; and what better way to do so than through the love, generosity, and support from those who believe in us most. And maybe we’ll buy some bubbly to celebrate, too!
