You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I was on a telephone date line. I heard his voice saying he was 6'6". That was all I needed to hear. We started talking and eventually met. He moved in with his daughter into my apartment. The following year he proposed to me on the New River where later on I got a black eye from our raft flipping over. The joke of the night was he punched me saying that I would say yes. So many people think we are soul mates. We never argue. We both love helping other people when they need help.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Ted is a Dallas Cowboys fan. I bought tickets to a game and a tour of the stadium because he had never been to Dallas. One day at work he was having a bad day. I put them in a card and showed up at his job with them. He read the card and looked at the tickets. He thought they were tickets to a game in Cincinnati. I said look at the tickets. He said what? We're going to Dallas? I said we're going to Dallas. He told me I was the best wife ever.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off our debt and save the rest. Of course if someone needed help we would help them as well. I would also like to help an animal shelter or group that is in need.
