We both started playing rugby for the same club 24 yrs ago (Maddie was 12, Patrick was 16). We fell in love with each other when I was a freshman in college, but I had morals and Patrick didn't so he dumped me. We didn't speak a word to each other for the next 18 years. And then, thanks to Pat being friends with a guy I had dated, we reconnected and within 2 weeks he was moved in to the farm because we knew that it was always meant to be us. We just had to have our practice marriages first.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It's not really 1 memory, it's the fact that we have been in the same rugby circle for the past 18 yrs but we've avoided each other every time we were at the same tournaments because Pat thought I hated him. To be fair I kind of did.
What would you do with $20,000?We run a farm full of rescue animals (most of which were rescued due to behavior issues). We take them in and rehab them and get bit by them a lot haha. Then they just become our pets. So this 20k? It'll go right to them to supplement the full time jobs that pay the mortgage.
