What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After my mother passed, our hearts were shattered. My husband came home one day and said, “Pack your bags.” We drove to Asheville, North Carolina, listening to Steve Morse the whole way. We rode carnival rides, hiked Grandfather Mountain, and laughed until we cried. That trip didn’t erase the grief, but it filled us with joy again. It reminded us that love holds space for both heartbreak and healing.
What would you do with $20,000?We spent years pouring into others—raising four incredible kids, putting three through college, and always choosing purpose over pleasure. We don’t have it all planned, but we’d give some to causes close to our hearts, and the rest? We’d finally say yes to something just for us. A dream trip, a long-overdue home project, or maybe a moment of pure joy. After all these years, it’s time to say yes to giving, yes to dreaming, and yes to us.
