We started our journey with roller skating and a tiny apartment. We’ve made our way to Bali and homeownership, with weird parties in between
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Our journey began on a dating app of all places. I started by asking him about books. He thought I was a bot because I was too hot for him! We decided to go roller skating on our first date, and he serenaded me with a ukulele in his mom’s car and we laughed constantly. We saw each other every day after that.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The first thing that comes to mind is when we were on our honeymoon. We had gone on a no-plan road trip in a Jeep up the west coast after our little COVID courthouse wedding. We made it to San Francisco, and went for a hike. Sean saw a goose he REALLY wanted to pet, so he crouched down and pretended to eat something to gain the goose’s curiosity. The goose slowly wandered over to see what the food was, and Sean quickly reached out and stroked the gooses back! The goose was angry.
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve had to put most of our funds towards building a guest house for our mother in law in our backyard, so we haven’t had the means to fix some basic things in our home. We’d fix our master bathroom shower to make it functional, and probably be boring and pay off our car with the rest.
