Connect How did your love story begin?

We met slinging burgers and roller skating at a sonic drive in, real romantic I know. We had no idea that we went to the same high school till one day I saw Dallas in the hallway at dismissal. I offered him a ride home and turns out we live just a few blocks away our whole lives and never crossed path’s! After that I started giving him rides home which turned into hanging out after school, before work, and after work too. We were inseparable, and we still are!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our one-year anniversary. Dallas had saved for months to treat us to a fancy dinner at The Garden Room in Buckhead. We got dressed up, had the most amazing food, and our waitress made us mocktails to feel grown-up since we were only 17&18 at the time. Afterward, we wandered Buckhead, window-shopped, and dreamed about our future. It felt like a glimpse into the life we’ll share. so magical and full of love. It’s cheesy but it’s true that when you know, you just know.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d start by paying off student loans since we're both in college, then put money aside for a wedding and an engagement ring. We'd finish paying off and fixing our cars, and save the rest toward a future home. This would help us start our life together with a little more peace and a lot more possibility!
