We met at my little sister's house. He was her fiancée's best friend. Matthue eventually got up and got a can of Dr. Pepper and asked if I wanted one. I politely declined and he got one for me anyway. From then on, we spoke daily. We have now survived many hardships together including our son being born with HLHS and needing two open heart surgeries before the age of two, and Matt being diagnosed with a rare condition in his brain that nearly took his life.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I do not have a single favorite memory. The only thing I can say is that this man changed my life in many ways and saved it in so many others. So, I suppose that finding him and getting that Dr. Pepper is my favorite. It is a moment I will always be thankful for.
What would you do with $20,000?If we had $20,000 we would use it to fix the floors in our home and get a new reliable vehicle that was safe for our child.
