We met online in 2009. We’re both shy people so it was easier to meet people this way. After talking online for about a week, we agreed to meet up at Buffalo Wild Wings for our first date. We then saw a movie because we were having such a good time. We have been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are 3: the births of our kiddos. Connor our oldest was the scariest because he was an emergency c-section. Because of all my body endured, Ty stepped up right away. He was so nervous about being a dad but I just knew he’d be amazing. Evelyn was born several years later and Gemma a few years after. Hearing those first cries and holding them is something you never forget. Each reminded me of how much our partnership means to us. It takes 100-100 from both to make it work and we do everyday.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it for some updates to our 1900 home. She has great bones and we can’t imagine raising our family anywhere else. But with older homes, there can be some areas that need improvements. So it’d be amazing to be able to make our basement usable. That would require our house to be lifted to redo the foundation and make it a little taller. From creepy basement to creative family space, that is our dream.
