Alan is my best friend & partner in everything life throws at us…and always in our most “fancy dress” attire, of course.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We met at a fitness bootcamp (that met five days a week at 5:30am in a church parking lot). We became fast friends & I quickly knew he was the one. He took a little while to realize I wasn’t like his previous girlfriends, I was, in fact, amazing. We became a couple in 2017 and married in 2023, in a 1920s themed ceremony, of course.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I think my favorite memory is the first time Alan joined my family for “Thanksoween”. In 2013, my family started a tradition of dressing up in Halloween costumes on Thanksgiving due to a costume shipping error. In 2018, Alan took the plunge & join in on the fun. My family loved him & was so excited I’d found someone that enjoyed participating in all our antics.
What would you do with $20,000?We bought our first house in 2024. Later that year, Alan was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease. In order to make good on our wedding vows to continue to travel the world, we now use our extra money to travel as far & wide as we can, while Alan is more easily able to. Perfecting our forever house has kind of been put on the back burner. So with that $20000, we’d begin our home renovations to make our home perfect for us!
