We’re both gamers and streamers. Josh started streaming in 2021 to make friends; Tanis began in 2020 after losing her retail job to the pandemic. We both loved playing Dead by Daylight. One night, after Josh’s friend (playing Killer) eliminated Tanis’s team, he suggested Josh raid her channel — and that’s how we met! We were best friends for over a year (long-distance — Hawaii to Nevada!) before meeting in real life and becoming a couple.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Disneyland in a hurricane! They said heavy rains were coming that day, but we already had plans and nonrefundable plane tickets. Except for a few rides being closed, it was the best experience ever. We wore matching rain ponchos over our matching outfits, and there wasn’t a line for any of the rides. We rode our favorites over and over. It felt like we had Disneyland all to ourselves that day.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won the money, we would love to put the $20,000 towards getting our happily ever after. We've been together 3 years now but we're unmarried; we would put it towards our somebody stash to get the home of our dreams and (hopefully) a cozy wedding down the line!
