We met in 2000, right after Sylwia moved to New York. We planned to get married on September 11, 2001, with a visit to City Hall, the top of the WTC, and a lovely lunch. But the world changed that day. With our license about to expire, we tried Queens, but the computers were down. So we found a judge in Nassau County and got married in a garden on September 17—the same date as Sylwia’s first wedding. Nearly 25 years later, we’re still together, with two amazing kids and a love that endures.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve created so many wonderful memories over the years. Some of the best have been our trips together—exploring new places we’d never been before. We also share quite a few interests, which makes our time together even more special.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to take a special trip for our 25th anniversary, and whatever is left, we’d happily divide between our children.
