Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in during summer break in highschool. I was about to be a sophomore and he was about to be a junior. I was on my high school’s dance team and he played football. During the summer we bonded while I attended dance camp and while he was in Georgia. When school came back around, he would always walk me to my classes and talk to me at my lockers. I knew he was the one from the very moment we started talking!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is when we first began talking (our situationship stage), I had told him about a necklace I had lost that was the last thing my Poppy bought for me before he died. Around 6 months after that, he surprised me with an identical necklace to replace the one I had lost. The fact he remembered something so small but sentimental to me affirmed how much he loves me and how much I love him.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would go on a nice honeymoon. When we get married, we both will be graduate students (I am a law student and he’s a pharmacy student), so we won’t be able to take a honeymoon for quite some time due to the fact we both will be on a heavily restricted budget. H has always wanted to go to national parks, and with the money, I want to help make his dreams come true and take him to various parks!
