Sydney’s parents moved from the East coast to San Diego, CA when she was 6 months old. Her dad traveled often for work so her mom became close with another woman at her church whose husband also traveled frequently. She had a son Sydney’s same age and they quickly became inseparable! Sadly, Luke and his family moved when he turned 4. It was by chance that Sydney and Luke reconnected in college and that friendship quickly returned, eventually turning into love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We were sitting in the car one night and the conversation just kept going. It wasn’t until it was 3am did we realize we should probably head home but neither of us wanted to. Messing around, I asked Luke what he was up to the rest of the night. He replied with, “I’ll brush my teeth, put on my pj’s, and probably think about you until I wake up.” I just laughed and said he couldn’t be serious but the look in his eyes said different. I couldn’t stop smiling.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay to finish our education. Sydney hopes to pursue an MBA and Luke is aiming for a Masters but as a young married couple with a year left of undergrad, it’s an intimidating prospect.
