Connect How did your love story begin?

our first date he took me to a The Avalanches concert! immediately our energy matched perfectly. we were both a bit shy, but felt comfortable. at the concert we were the only two jumping and being hype. the artists even pointed to us in excitement. then later came down high-fiving everyone, but gave us hugs! a couple next to us even stopped us after and said “thank you for making this concert fun, your energy was awesome!” we kept in touch after, and have been together almost 3 years now!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

about a month or so after our first date, i drove over to Washington and picked him up. we went to mcdonald’s, did a car wash, and then went to Peach Beach. at the beach we sat on a giant rock and just talked for nearly 8 hours until 4am! we laughed, shared stories, just got to really know each other. slowly moving closer and closer until we were slightly touching legs. again, the energy was there. i went home and texted him the next morning “i really wanted to kiss you last night”

What would you do with $20,000?

with $20,000 we would begin our life together! i would pay off my small debts, we’d get a car possibly, and start looking for somewhere to live together. like i said, we’ve been together almost 3 years! we’ve been ready to take the next step, but money is tight, our jobs are not great, and the world is expensive. i can’t even begin to tell you how much $20k would mean to us
