My husband and I were in a fashion marketing class together! He was only one of the two guys in there! We became like best friends right away! We both worked at the mall too! So every time we worked we would hang out on our breaks! Initially we were trying to help each other date other people! I think back then 30 years ago I was nervous about interracial dating! After about 6 months in he told me he liked me and we went on our first date and by our 2nd date we never looked back!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After 28 years my husband and I got into probably the worst argument we ever had! It was over pumpkin pie and sweet potatoe pie! He was not ok with me making a pumpkin pie for our son (he has never told me NO to ANYTHING) after two days of no peace he comes down with the worst flu ever! After taking care of him after all that he realized it was no coincidence ! It was God keeping him humble! It was kind of a stupid but monumental story in our marriage that we now both love to tell!
What would you do with $20,000?We would probably do some home improvements! 4 kids can do a number on a home, lol! And we would probably go on a long over do vacation celebrating 22 years of marriage! We haven’t got to do anything on our own in like 9 years!
