Some people meet cute — we met cosmic. Just finishing my shift at Disneyland I stopped for gas in full pirate costume. He was in town staying at the Angel Inn next door, and popped in to the gas station to grab snacks. That was 25 years ago. We’ve been sidekicks, soulmates and the ultimate hype team ever since. They say angels come in unexpected ways. Mine showed up in a pair of baggy JNCO jeans, outside a gas station, in front of the Angel Inn. No need to pinch me cuz I never wanna wake up.

After 18 years together, we both proposed to each other — on the same night — on the Ferris wheel at EDC! He gave me a ring pop. I gave him a glow-in-the-dark ring. It was pure magic, bass drops and all. Two years later, we got married on Halloween 2020 in full Alice in Wonderland theme wedding. Every guest was in costume, and each Wonderland character was played by someone we love. It was surreal, creative, and the most love-soaked day of my life. And I have the tattoo to prove it.

We’d use it to create something special that celebrates our story and helps others write their own. Maybe also a vow renewal festival-style party with live music, costumes, and an open invite to all the amazing people in our lives. We’d also love to invest in creative projects together — like releasing my album, finishing his book and creating a healing space to bring joy and connection to communities. It wouldn’t just be about us — it would ripple out to everyone we love.
