Connect How did your love story begin?

Our boss, Jim, at the small pest control company we both started working at in 2001 played a very divine matchmaker friend to us. Initially, both Robin and I would've never even knew we had so much in common, such similar old-souls, and such a yin and yang beautiful symbiosis. 12 years difference in age, we thought our generations would challenge us, but yet they are complimentative of each other. It was our individual love of music in opposite genres and our love for the hit series Seinfeld.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I would say we both would think it was our wedding and reception itself was totally a life event that we would have never expected to unravel as it did. Booking the venue itself is a funny story! The decisions we learned to make together was a new lesson of life - communication has incredibly helped our relationship flourish. The wedding took place in Roseville, CA on May 28, 2006 and we invited over 220 people....and there were 3 new couples derived after our reception. Ha ha.

What would you do with $20,000?

As we live very economically due to income levels and cost of living currently, we don't get much for vacations or travel at all, and we both love our 2 sons so much that we want to truly have our whole family experience a trip to Europe for 2-3 weeks costing around $10,000 I imagine. With the other $10,000, we would put in our savings to hopefully put more towards a down payment for a house of our own! We have been wanting our own home, but prices in Reno, NV have gone way out of touch.
