We met in March of 1991. In September of 91 we were married, 1st and only marriage for both of us. We are both “faith focused”.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
During our 1st date, where Cheryl asked me out (members of a Singles Club in KC), I knew that God had at last provided me what I had been asking for. Cheryl felt the same way about me. After dating for about one month, we discussed Marriage and what that meant for us both. We both wanted to say yes, but Cheryl was a bit scared that I would not treat her like I had been up to this point, for the rest of our lives. I promptly wrote Cheryl a written note/certificate, promising I would.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? After signing the just mentioned certificate of undying love, I took a kitchen knife out and promptly cut my thumb and applied a smear of Blood to the certificate, and said, "see, signed in Blood." Cheryl said YES, I WILL MARRY YOU! As a side note, we just moved to Neosho, MO,, and we still have that certificate, signed and sealed in Blood, although the Blood has faded somewhat as it is, today, 34 years and 2 months old. This Marriage proposal will stick with us forever. 1st marriage for us
What would you do with $20,000?We would use to to fix up our home we just purchased, and we would also help out our son & daughter.
