How did your love story begin?

We met through mutual friends and instantly there was a connection between us the first time we met. Steve helped me look for my purse since I lost it in a bar. I knew he had a kind heart. We have five kids between us and hearing Steve talk about his love for his family was heartwarming. We both had recently been through a rough divorce and we had a vision of what life and marriage could be like for us. We just connected and laughed for hours every day and 26yrs later we still do.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Last year we renewed our vows while visiting our three adult kinds in Myrtle Beach. There was a breathtaking sunset and none else on the beach. Nick one of our boys officiated and my other son walked me to Steve. My daughter was my maid of honor. We wrote on shells and all ran into the ocean. There was a group of people cheering for us and it was the perfect beach wedding. We wrote our own vows and there were tears for sure. Honestly we love to travel and make memories together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to visit our three kids that live in Myrtle Beach. As this year we were not able to go there due to financial reasons. We have two grandchildren and would love to invest in a long term CD for them. We have one son that has a long term disability due to a horrific car accident. I would love to be able to financially support him more. Basically we would love to invest in our family and their future. When they do well we are happy parents.
