We were high school sweethearts! Dated 1979 - 1983! We decided to go our separate ways! April 12, 2025 we got engaged !

Our first date was October 12, 1979! We were high school sweethearts and we were together until the summer of 1983! He was off to college in Wisconsin and I stayed back in NH ! We tried to make things work, but the distance did not work. We both married other people and had families, but we always stayed in contact with Christmas cards or a quick call just to check in. We were both each other‘s first loves. In 2022 our paths crossed again and we knew it was right this time.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We graduated in 1981 and that year we were crowned Carnival Queen and King at our high school! And then on April 12 2025, we went off to the Berkshires in Massachusetts and that’s where Steve proposed to me on one knee! He grabbed my hand and he said “I have loved you since I was 15 years old”. He had gone to my four children and asked them if he could marry their mother and of course they all said “absolutely yes.”
What would you do with $20,000?We are newly engaged and between the two of us we have seven children, and five grandchildren! Our dream is to get all of our family together and take a beautiful vacation together, and get married in front of our family! We realize how precious life is and that we have been given another chance at love. We are so blessed and we feel our story is truly magical.
