Our love story began in 2007 after Steve’s first tour in Iraq. He came home to see family and knocked on the door of the apartment I shared with his sister. The moment we met, I was smitten. We went to a local bar to celebrate his safe return and felt an instant connection. A long-distance friendship quickly turned into love. Seventeen years later, that spark is still strong, and I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory as a couple is our recent trip to Europe. For 10 incredible days, we had uninterrupted time together as husband and wife, something we hadn’t experienced since becoming parents. It was so needed and reminded us how important it is to reconnect and nurture our relationship beyond the roles of mom and dad.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d pay off the remainder of my student loans so that burden is finally lifted off our shoulders. With whatever is left, we’d love to plan a family vacation; maybe a trip to Disney to make special memories together and celebrate being debt-free!
