We are complete opposites in almost every way — our taste in movies/tv shows, music, the food we like, etc. But, somehow, we work.

We met on Fortnite, three years ago last month, through a mutual gaming friend. I (Stephanie) yelled at him the very first time we met and he (Joshua), frightened, swiftly left our party chat. A few months later, the same friend tried again, and we have just been inseparable ever since. At first, we spent hours just sitting in Fortnite lobbies and on overwatch 2 just talking. Then, we moved to PlayStation party chats as we fell asleep on calls with one another which soon became 8 hr phone calls.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is the first time I ever flew to go meet him — he’s from Kentucky and I Lived in New York — we spent our first Valentine’s Day at the Newport Aquarium, shared the most PERFECT steak at this Italian restaurant in the same plaza, and finished the night with a special Valentine’s Candlelight Concert and drinks at the Hard Rock Casino. We held hands, and laughed, and prank called my mom telling her we got married. Of course, she didn’t believe us. “Not my daughter,” she said.
What would you do with $20,000?I’m sure most couples would say throw a big wedding, but he and I — I’m 32, he’s 46 — we just want a nice house to spend the rest of our years together. Doesn’t have to be big, but definitely needs plenty of space for our giant gaming tv, a library for me, and a man cave for him. 20K would help us save. Neither of us has a lot of money and this would help us fuel our dreams.
