We are a blended family that spans 2 states; Texas and New Hampshire. We knew each other in High School, and reconnected after 20 yrs.
We would like to thank you for supporting Spooner-Wolgamott in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in high school where we were involved in the same church, and we grew closer as we got older. We went off to different colleges and lost touch. 20 years later we reconnected, at first to help and support one another on our journey, but the feelings and closeness quickly came back. I lived in New Hampshire, and she in Texas. We ended up dating long distance for a few years, and then in 2022 we got married. Our first year of marriage was also long distance before I moved to Texas.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? In 2018 we were spending our first Christmas together without our children. We both have a love for missions and serving others, so we took a trip to Haiti. Her family had prepared several gifts for children living in orphanages there, and we went and got to play santa to those children during that week.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off some existing debt, put some in savings, do some house repairs, help cover costs of life and travel to see our children.
