How did your love story begin?

At first, we were just a reporter/photog team tackling stories in the field for our television station. Then we were great friends for many years - happily watching one another date men and grousing about kissing too many frogs and not enough princes. Unbeknownst to one another - we each had had a romantic dream about the other that we were never going to share because we didn't want to ruin the friendship. Eventually we got brave and sealed these new feelings with a kiss on Mardi Gras in NOLA!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

After a friend's sudden death made us reevaluate our relationships with others and why we hadn't spoken in four years, we planned our first wedding for just six weeks later...8-3-2024. At that time we also promised ourselves to 'Mardi Gras' marry on 3-8-2025 - four days after Fat Tuesday this year. March 8th was the date of our first Mardi Gras moment as a couple. As brides we got to dance to a Bourbon Street band...just like in the lyrics of a song by on of our favorite artist 'Lily Rose.'

What would you do with $20,000?

We have aging parents we want to give the very best care to and children to whom we want to give the very best life. Regardless of what people think, you work in local tv for the love - not the money. A win like this would allow us to do what we know is right for those who've selflessly poured into us, provide for our kiddos who had a very rough start with their bio mom and have enough to bless some of those who serve a group very close to our hearts - the homeless.
