Our story began on hinge a dating app. Our first date was us laying out ground rules and expectations. One hour turned into three. We couldn’t get enough of each other. The next date we went to a Quarters for Change concert. There was instant connection, chemistry, and a dynamic neither of us experienced before. We took a trip down to Florida a few weeks later and have been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We decided to take a trip from Atlanta to a remote cabin in north Georgia. Beautiful flower fields, a pond, and hiking trails. On the third night of our trip a freak storm comes out of nowhere with a tornado two exits away. Winds blowing and shaking the cabin so bad the property owner came to escort us to wait in our car until the storm passed. When the stillness of the storms eye fell over us I got out and drew a heart on her window. Then I pulled Sofia out of the car and proposed.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would be able to afford a wedding. We’d be able to have the wedding we’ve dreamed about. Between bills, rising costs, and just trying to stay afloat, a wedding has felt completely out of reach. This would give us the chance to start our marriage and next step in our journey.
