Connect How did your love story begin?

I was managing a little restaurant called Pita Jungle. It was just a normal week. I was eating my lunch, doing the schedule and I looked up and saw the most handsome man in the world!! He was wearing a red button-down dress shirt, black pants, and dress shoes. His golden hair was shining in the sun and he walked in with a smile that could soften the hardest heart. I knew right then and there that I needed him in my life, the rest of my days. So I hired him & we weren’t hiring…meant to be!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We only were dating about a week and his brother and dad invited me on their deep-sea fishing trip. The three boys have been wanting to do this their whole life and only dream was to catch a marlin, but don’t go into San Diego Waters, but there was a hurricane that year. It was my fiancé‘s birthday that morning, we headed out on the boat and didn’t have much luck in the beginning. Right as we were heading in, sun came out and my fiancé hooked right into one! 4 hours later DREAMS CAME TRUE!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would love to invest in my fiancé! His dream is to be a welder and that cost a lot of money and equipment. I would first buy him a welder and start us a small shop in our backyard where he can begin a business all on his own. He is a very talented craftsman I would love to see where he can go with his amazing skill! He’s almost out of school right now, so this would be perfect timing!
