Kalin & I coincidentally moved to Denver around the same time. She’d just graduated college & I was going to take care of my father who was sick at the time. We began texting & one of our first conversations was about our favorite desserts. During our first date Kalin brought me a red velvet cake! She tried to walk to bus alone in the cold & I said “are you crazy? I will take you home!”. This quickly led to me driving 30-40 minutes every other night to spend as much time with her as I could.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is the first beach trip we spent together. We love to be by the water & believe that it brings the words out of you. I remember feeling very connected to her & having this excitement about building our future together.
What would you do with $20,000?We often host our friends & family but lately when visiting our coupled friends homes we feel mildly envious of how developed their spaces are. We haven’t been able to fully decorate & enhance our apartment as much as we’d like to so that money would go into make our shared space more comforting & reflective of our personalities.
