Drew and I are both musicians in Denver, CO. Funny enough we were always hanging out at the same places but never happened to cross paths. One warm summer night 2 years ago I played on a bill with Drew. I remember seeing him onstage with his band- he was so handsome that my eyes popped out of my head just like they do in old cartoons. After the show I had to say hello and he walked me back to my old pick up truck. “I used to have this same car!” Drew said, and after that we were inseparable.

Drew and I have so many memories. Our union felt crazy at the beginning, like we were meant to know each other and had known each other for a long time. Our similarities were oddly synchronous and our passions completely aligned. We immediately started making music together and on one of our first dates we recorded a song that we both treasure to this day. Our musical connection was so instantaneous it was shocking. We now play in a band together and have been making music ever since.

20,000 dollars would mean so much to us. We are both working musicians that spend day in and day out hustling to make ends meet. Our passions have always guided us and with the extra money we would finally be able to fully share our art with the world. We are almost done with our full length album and hope to go on tour next year to play the album throughout the United States. The 20,000 would make this venture possible, covering traveling expenses and allowing us the freedom to hit the road.
