We genuinely like each other. Our love doesn’t complete us, but it enhances our lives in ways we never imagined.
We would like to thank you for supporting Simon Journey in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met on Hinge and things started slowly, I thought Simon just wanted to be friends, but really, he was just nervous. We began dating more seriously, but since it was his first relationship, it got overwhelming and we went back to being friends. This gave us the ability to build a strong foundation of trust. I still had a crush and was quietly hoping. On a trip to New York to visit his friends and my sister, I told him I didn’t want to be just friends anymore—and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memories is a quiet day at the river early in our relationship. It was Simon’s first time at this spot in my hometown, and it reminded him of home. We laid in the sun on the riverbank, completely at peace. It felt like time stopped—just the two of us, totally present, soaking in the serenity and saying how surreal and out-of-body the moment felt. We can make fun out of anything, but that day felt truly special.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we'd probably take one unforgettable trip—somewhere like Japan, which we've always dreamed of exploring together—and then save the rest for our future.
