He is Jamaican and I am American so learning one another’s cultural differences has been an exciting and fulfilling journey!
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Two years ago, we met through a social networking app and quickly realized we were both new to Nashville. My now husband is a chef, so for our first date, he had planned a day by the pool and later, we then together cooked a dish native to his culture! The whole day was dreamy and we have been inseparable ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory thus far was actually our 1 year anniversary! We didn’t get a full glitz and glamour wedding, nor did we have the funds for a honeymoon, so the days after our wedding we had spend them exploring the city and making memories in our new home town. We somewhat re-created those days for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We spent it downtown riding electric scooters and enjoying the scenic lifestyle again like we were visitors in town! Such a fun, meaningful and memorable day!
What would you do with $20,000?We would have a baby!!! A few years before we met, I had to have my fallopian tubes removed. So unfortunately, I can not get pregnant naturally. Neither my husband nor I have had the blessing of children yet and we are beyond ready! That money would cover the cost of the procedure for IVF
