Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in Sierra’s backyard - one of her neighbors was my best friend and she had a trampoline in her backyard. However, we did tell her she couldn’t play with us. Fast forward a few years later we became friends in our youth group. Evan had started taking an interest in me, but I wasn’t on the same page. Until one night he got a very bad migraine that ended up being a brain bleed. That landed him in ICU for 10 days & he told me he loved me - under the strong influence of medication.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We ended up getting married in 2020 - the running joke is we’ve been married once & have planned 3 weddings. Our original plan fell through due to social distancing restrictions, our second one due to me (Sierra) getting Covid 2 weeks before our wedding - which made everyone cancel. Our original honeymoon plans went up in flames, literally. The wedding we had was intimate, sweet, and a testament that we knew what truly mattered - our commitment to one another.

What would you do with $20,000?

Since 2021 Sierra has experienced a cascade of health issues we’ve navigated that has prevented us from growing our family. While we trust that God has a plan, having this financial support would allow us to explore other options, like adoption or treatments, in a more tangible way. Assistance with some medical expenses or a short cruise wouldn’t be bad either. 🤣
