It started at church. He actually moved to Michigan for a previous relationship he was in. He was invited to my church & that relationship was ending, and he was rebuilding His relationship with God. We started as friends (when I told him of my celibacy journey, he said “God would never do that to his son”) We ended up on the praise team together, I asked him to come and fix my toilet that was leaking and on Easter Sunday in 2022, He called and told me he was interested.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Omg! That’s soooo hard. Our first Christmas was special, the first Thanksgiving he spent with my family and I. We have the most amazing and truly relationship changing conversations. It’s hard to choose 1. But, if I HAD to choose. It would be the proposal. He did it at church and it was the perfect setup, setting and start to our forever!
What would you do with $20,000?We would start with purchasing our first investment property and start our real estate portfolio so that we can set a financial foundation for our family. We plan to start trying for children in the New Year and would both love to be home to raise and build our family.
