"Hey Jamal I want you to meet someone because y'all got those anime eyes". Those words were the start of our journey together. On Feb 15th, Katsucon weekend, earlier that day I got news about my dad being sick and not being able to make it. I said to Jamal "I need this to be the best weekend" and it was. My dad pulled through, and I was happy. "As" by Stevie Wonder was on in background while I sang while playing Uno he dared me to date with a Truth or Dare card, and here we happy living life!

For his Dirty 30 he wanted to go to Vegas. Our original flight got cancelled, I turned to him and said "I'm going to make this happen because you deserve it!" I'm the charismatic one; we stated chatting with another passenger and he gave us a lot of things to do. We landed at 12:45 am PST. We crossed off the list that the passenger gave us enjoying every experience. It was a magical trip. Especially the birthday dinner.

We would love to travel more and share experiences, but mostly put it towards a home. He lives with his mom to save money, but he also helps his friends when they are in need. I take care of my elderly mom that has lupus. We see each other on the weekends and make the most of that time. Marriage is in the future, but to be able to wake up next to each other would be magical.
