I’m a firm believer in things happening when the time is right. I had just graduated and moved back home and decided to download DilMil, an Indian dating app. I’m very selective with who I speak with but my conversation with Shyam started so naturally! No corny lines or jokes. We grew closer over the next few months until he drove up to where I live with 2 dozen roses and asked me to be his girlfriend with a tennis bracelet. It’s my favorite piece of jewelry, after my engagement ring ofcourse!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s so hard to pick one because when I think of everything we do together I love it all! Anything I get to do with Shyam is my favorite! If I did have to pick a favorite memory I would say it’s when we took our first international trip together to Colombia! We climbed El Peñol which is roughly 740 steps. He engraved P+S in a heart when he thought I wasn’t looking. The sweetest gestures to me are the unspoken ones that don’t call for recognition but come from a place of true love!
What would you do with $20,000?We’re currently planning our big, fat Indian wedding! I’m finishing up med school while Shyam works so we would put the money towards our dream wedding!!
