We compliment each other so well, there is never a dull moment between us. We love to love one another & keep finding new ways to everyday.
We would like to thank you for supporting Shoog & Boog in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our families had known each other for years, but Jesh (Boog) and I (Shoog) had never met, until summer 2018 in Wooster. I treated his brother Jaron for a minor injury, and that’s when I met Jesh. I thought 'I didn't know Jaron had a hot brother?" We bonded over anime, grew close, and fell in love naturally. A year later, I donated a kidney to my dad, and Jesh never left my side. Six weeks after surgery, we were married, and we've been building a beautiful life ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory is taking Jesh out of the country for the first time, to Guyana, my parents’ homeland. Despite never traveling abroad before, he was all in. We celebrated my 30th birthday at the beach where I had scattered my dad’s ashes a year prior. We explored the country together and even hiked to one of the largest waterfalls in the Amazon. It was emotional, adventurous, and unforgettable, I fell in love with him more.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, I’d put it toward diapers, tuition, and maybe one uninterrupted nap before our first baby arrives this November. Between nurse practitioner school, mortgage life, and prepping for parenthood, we’d use it to survive, thrive, and maybe splurge on takeout when cooking feels like a group project no one signed up for.
