Meeting 23 years ago, we started at him sitting at the local county bar as a Battalion designated driver watching her Wednesday nights when our paths finally crossed. Volunteering 1000 hours, his unit took him out to celebrate his achievement when we met on the dance floor. He asked her to dance with her surprise. Knowing the clubs rumor claiming he was gay, the first three words were “ aren’t you gay”?
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Returning to Ft. Hood, TX, post deployment, his unit offered married couples a retreat in Austin to help with the reintegration process. April knew most the spouses from being the FRG leader during his deployment when we arrived. To our dismay, we discovered it was a dry country with the addition the hot tubs were closed. We snuck out and piled up into the explorer, drove to the liquor store in the next county and back, accessed the hot tubs and opened them for the other couples and partied.
What would you do with $20,000?50% would help with our children’s college education. The other half we would donate towards extending organizations that support Veterans, Military, and First responders within the Lifestyle business.
