Connect How did your love story begin?

I met Justin in October 2006 when he came to work on my team selling ads for BellSouth the Real Yellow Pages. I had to train him and at first i didn’t like him. We started hanging out at the picnic table at lunch and we realized we had a lot in common. We both have two brothers and our parents still married . We love comedy, art and traveling. We like to try new restaurants and go thrifting together. We were called “ The Love Birds” by our coworkers. I still make cartoons for Justin’s lunch bag.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Justin and I got engaged at that same picnic table in 2011. We got married in 2016. We have Capcized a raft in whitewater rafting in Tennessee and I saved his life. He paid for us both to get LASIK and 3 Engineering degrees, the last 2 with honors. The LASIK and degrees were dreams come true for both of us. I received the Women + Tech scholarship from DeVry University for $12K which was another dream come true because I thought I could never afford college. Life has been beautiful with Justin.

What would you do with $20,000?

Our next dream is to start our Master’s degrees and we want to put a down payment on our own home. We would pay off some medical bills that we’ve been paying in since last year and travel to Pennsylvania to see my elderly aunt and uncle while we still can.
