We matched on a dating app! Ethan’s first message was a funny joke about the popular, but now retired, website Webkinz! Our first few meetings were spent Ethan making a two hour treks to Muncie, Indiana to Shelby’s college Ball State to meet. Our time was spent watching films and asking questions like “If you had one superpower what would it be?” Or “If you could have a personal concert of 4 artists living or dead who would it be?”. Getting to know each other in fun and personal ways!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our trip to Europe is a favorite memory for us. It was our first big trip together as a couple and felt like an intertwining of two parts of ourselves. The first half of the trip was spent with Shelby’s cousin, Josh, discovering parts of the world neither of us had seen before. The second half being spent with the family of a foreign exchange program Ethan participated in, the Graham’s, showing and sharing with Shelby places he loved, including his favorite place in the world Ballintoy Harbor.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use our money to build our future together. We will be married in September of 2026, this money will be a great jumping off point for a home, paying towards current costs and debts, and saving for things like building a family and future trips to make more memories together as a couple!
