I have known him and his family since I was 6 but our love story began when he moved back to Tennessee after 10 years of being gone. My dad invited him kayaking and not long after, he asked me out. After the first date, we couldn’t stand being apart. We instantly knew this was something real. He asked me out again the very next day and we have been enjoying every moment since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of my favorite memories was the day he proposed. I had no idea it was happening that day. He took me to one of our favorite scenic spots and when I turned around, there he was on one knee. I immediately started crying tears of joy. His hands were shaking. I was so happy I couldn’t get a word out for a minute, though it was the easiest “yes.” We had only been dating for 2 months but it’s true what they say - “when you know you know.” I’ve never understood that phrase until Billy.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would pay off his debt and my debt from school and use the rest to go on a honeymoon. We were so excited to get married and decided to elope. Since then, I’ve still been in school in order to finish my teaching degree. It would be such a blessing to be able to finally have a honeymoon.
