I had moved back home to Texas from NYC (where I was a singer and actress) and I volunteered to sing for a memorial at a cancer center. I couldn't find a piano player, but they said their marketing director played. I was hoping to find a professional pianist, but couldn't. Turns out he was great and wrote beautiful songs! We were dating other people so we became friends. A few months later, we were both single again and our first date was pizza with all our kids.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Oh, SO MANY great memories...bottle feeding orphan fawns on one of our first dates, having dinner on the Eiffel Tower on our honeymoon, last-minute Broadway weekends, flying to do lunch in Galveston (husband is also a pilot / flight instructor), taking the musical my husband and daughter wrote together (Finding Helena) to NYC for a successful industry reading in 2024! Now, one of our favorite things is to just stay home, sit at the piano and sing together! We're constantly making new memories!
What would you do with $20,000?We'd take our parents (89 and 90), and our grown kiddos on a trip!
