It started in the middle of a pandemic five years ago. The world had come to a halt, and everything felt uncertain but life still found a way to surprise us when we least expected it. Shannon was visiting Florida for vacation when she met Unique, a DJ born and raised in Naples. The world was distanced, but the desire for real connection was more present than ever. There was a spark we couldn’t ignore and against all odds, we fell in love with each other’s soul/energy.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite holiday is Halloween and last year, Shannon crafted up an idea to surprise DJ Unék by dressing up as her including the style, energy and tattoos! It wasn’t just a costume. It felt like embodying the person she loves in a way she’d never done before. It was about celebrating the quirky, playful, and totally “unique” love we share.
What would you do with $20,000?At the end of the day, taking care of each other’s health- physically, financially and mentally, is what matters most. We would use the money towards Unek’s ongoing medical expenses for her chronic lung/heart disease but also invest in our mental health together with a romantic vacation. It would be her first in over 5 years due to her sickness.
