We were less than a mile from each other where he hung out, around people who we both knew and never met only accidentally by an apology. At a daycare we both were employed at, I was planning to apply at another job, he was a new trainee. All I kept hearing was, “Did you see the new guy? He’s so fine!” I felt embarrassed about a rumor about us. He smiled slightly, “I already knew for a hot minute.” I was heading out, he gave his number to me on paper before I could see if he wanted my number.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Stating to each other that we’ll build from scratch as long as we have each other and be there together putting in the work and remembering this on our worst days. Both came from having nothing, married young, then with one infant and two toddlers to homelessness. Raising 4 children making us a family of six. Achieving homeownership, it’s officially been 1 year since we purchased our home. All of this occurred within 21 years of marriage, approaching 22 years of marriage this August of 2025.
What would you do with $20,000?We would invest in the futures of our loved ones this would be a great opportunity for a jumpstart. Then build off the rest for ourselves.
