After 6 years in the military, I was done—until a last-minute a reenlistment brought me home to Washington. I moved in, and there she was—my neighbor. She took my breath away. A month later, she knocked on my door, asking for help with a chair I know she could lift. We exchanged numbers. I asked her out. That moment changed everything. She brought back the part of me war stole. Life with her is magic. She didn’t just move in next door—she moved into my heart.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The whole family went sledding together for Shanelle’s birthday. At this point, we had been together for just 3 months. Sliding down the hills, laughing, falling and enjoying our time. It was the moment I knew.. I want life with this girl forever. Whatever it is, I’m in.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we would use that money to help pay for our wedding. A family vacation or put a down payment down on our first house.
