How did your love story begin?

We met through online dating. Neither of us had tried it before and on that first date it was very apparent that we had led very similar lives. Our background, the core values, our belief system that came in-part from both being 100 percent single parents with no involvement from ex's, etc.We both were the sole provider mom-and-dad roles for our kids and we were fiercely protective of the lives we built and knew there would be no compromise unless it was a perfect fit for us and the kids.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Once we realized we had actually found the perfect love story and life partnership, as well as the perfect blended family dynamic, we went headlong into creating amazing memories with great family trips coupled with romantic getaways for ourselves. The first time we went to NYC, it was like a dream. All the tourist stuff with a romantic spoil ourselves weekend at the Waldorf Astoria, food tours, Central Park, and kisses in front of every spot we had ever seen in the movies. It was flawless.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would continue to add on to our lake house that we built to eventually retire in and create an environment where all of our kids and future grandkids know that this is the traditional spot that you can always come to find love, peace and a since of calm that you can't find anywhere else in the world. An oasis and escape for everyone that loves you lives here. Our family deserves that after all the work and transition to build them the happiest of homes.
