Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on a dating app called Upward, where we matched and started talking just two strangers getting to know each other. After a few conversations, we exchanged numbers. I’ll admit, he was a little quirky at first, but something told me to give him a chance. We went on one date… and we’ve been inseparable ever since. He’s truly my person, and I can’t wait to spend forever with him.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories with him was the night we went to a Royals game with a few of his friends. Afterward, we were just driving around, enjoying each other’s company, when we stopped in a random parking lot to practice our swing dancing. We laughed, stumbled, and had so much fun. Then, out of nowhere, he looked at me and said, “I love you.” It was simple, unexpected, and absolutely perfect it made the moment unforgettable.

What would you do with $20,000?

My boyfriend is currently putting himself through college, covering all of his expenses on his own. He’s worked incredibly hard to earn enough to stay enrolled and keep moving toward his career goals. If we were to win this $20,000, a significant portion would go directly toward supporting his education because he truly deserves it. I’ve also faced serious medical challenges, including four collapsed lungs, which have led to high medical bills. The rest of the money would help my mom with those
