We met and fell in love from across the country. We both work with the mentally ill and volunteer for local Fire Department.

We followed the same creator on TikTock. He was a moderator for her channel and I was subbed to her channel. On Sunday the creator would host challenges on IG, and eventually a group of us became close friends and would stay on IG calls till all hours of the night. I sent John and a few others a link to a site that led to a private conversation between John and I. Next thing I knew I was on a plane from Az to OR. Moved in 6 months later. We just celebrated 2 years together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Taking John and his daughter to Florida for her 10th birthday. Neither of them had ever been to Disney or seen the Atlantic Ocean. We spent 3 magical days at Disney then traveled to stay with my dad in West Palm. We threw a surprise birthday party for my dad that allowed him to meet my entire extended family. It was also magical to see his 10 year old experience and ocean she could swim in and watch a baby turtle hatch and make it to the ocean. It was the first trip for our new family.
What would you do with $20,000?Plan our next family vacation. I know they both really want to see NY. I grew up in the suburbs and spent a lot of time in NYC. I am hopeful to let them experience all the sights, the food (including real pizza and bagels haha). I want to take his now 11 year old to her first Broadway show since I was her age when I went to my first show. Plus we could use a central AC system in our house.
